May 14, 2007. The Alliance for Science is pleased to announce the winners of the 2007 National High School Essay Contest. Congratulations to all our winners! We had many strong contenders, and we worked hard to evaluate all the essays carefully and fairly.  

Many thanks to our outstanding Judging Committee and to our volunteers who assisted with the initial essay screening and other contest logistics. Also, we are very grateful for our supporters who donated cash, books, and other valuable prizes, and for the many bloggers, webmasters, and others who helped promote the contest.
