Forum for High School Teachers on Teaching Evolution

On Monday, February 12, in honor of International Darwin Day, the Marian Koshland Science Museum of the National Academy of Sciences and the National Association of Biology Teachers is sponsoring a forum on Teaching Evolution in the Classroom. The event will be held at the Koshland Science Museum, 6th & E Streets, NW.

At this FREE forum for middle and high school teachers, participants will have the opportunity to speak with researchers and educators about how current research can be used to support the teaching of evolution in the classroom.

Participants will receive take home resources from the National Academies, the America Association for the Advancement of Science, the Biological Sciences Curriculum Study, the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology, Howard Hughes Medical Institute, The National Association of Biology Teachers, and more.
